Benvenuta ~ Welcome!
Loretta M. Leto is an award-winning poet, author and speaker who began writing as a child and discovered early in life there is “Power in Poetry” and words can move you. As a native Floridian, her roots run deep and her soul spreads wide across this state her Sicilian ancestors called, “Paradiso”. She was born in Miami, grew up in Tampa, graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville, lived in Brevard County after college, and earned her MBA from University of North Florida in Jacksonville where she lived for 30 years, raised her son, and worked as a Project Manager for “Corporate America”.
Always summoned by the ebb and flow of tides, she never strays too far from the sea, and now lives in Vilano Beach with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean, one of her many muses. Inspired by La Florida’s bodies of water which are everywhere, breathtaking sunsets and moonrises, long sultry days and hot steamy nights, she weaves these images into her books which celebrate love, innocence, angst and dreams of eternal youth, all while growing up and growing old in a place called paradise!!
